Renovation, Chatswood

This home was being renovated for sale so budget was a prime consideration. The lower floor was remodelled to incorporate a new lounge area, a new kitchen, opening up of the dining area, with new timber flooring throughout. Two sets of new bi-fold glass doors open onto a brand-new deck. The upper level was entirely recarpeted. The existing family bathroom was updated and a second bathroom added.

We’re also pleased with a budget-conscious makeover of two rear smaller rooms. The bathroom was stripped back to bare tiles, which were spray-painted a Dulux vivid white. We retrofitted a new vanity, basin and toilet. In the laundry, the tiles were in excellent condition and an attractive soft tone, so these were retained and complemented with new cabinetry and a stone benchtop. We retrofitted new tapware and replaced the external door with a new timber French door.
