Structural alteration & renovation in a fire-risk zone
We removed internal walls and demolished exterior walls at the rear of the building to open up a lounge/dining area, adding skylights and large fixed glass panels to bathe the area in natural light. New sliding glass doors lead to a balcony area with new glass balustrade. The renovations also added a new kitchen, new timber flooring and joinery to entry and lounge areas.
As this family home was located in a high-risk fire zone, fire shutters were installed to all back glass panels and doors.
